The 12 Days of Christmas Holiday Special Sale (TLG PR)

LITTLE ROCK, AR B December 07, 2007 B Troll Lord Games announced the 12 Days of Christmas Holiday Sale this morning. From December 7 to the 18th TLG is offering 12 different sales packages and giveaways. Check the website sales page daily for updates www.trolllord.com.

We wanted to do something a little different this year, remarked Stephen Chenault of TLG. Hitching our product line to this really great song seemed like a good idea, until we realized we had to come up with 12 holiday specials and or promotions. But thats part of the fun. We hope everyone enjoys the specials and has a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah. My only regret is that we were not able to get the crew together in time to make a recording of the song!

The 12 Days of Christmas Holiday Sale begins on December 7. Check the website each night between around 10 to 11 p.m. EST for the next days special and give away. There is no limit to the number of packages you may purchase, but shipping charges apply for each package as the shipping rates are calculated for each box of goodies. If you live outside the continental United States please do not paypal your order but call us at 501-680-6597 or email us at troll@trolllord.com. We are going to remove the sale page on December 19. Some Give Away items are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis.

Military discounts do not apply to sells items. Retailers feel free to order.

For questions or comments, contact us at troll@trolllord.com. Be sure to check out our updates on Winters Dark Convention II and Troll Con VI.

I'm not seeing where this sales page is. I clicked the link from the post but don't see anything about a Christmas sale. TLG Store is the same as it ever is. Products, ordering, News. I am just not finding this.

Right there on the main page, where it says 'click last years Christmas card' and there is a cartoon of troll dudes in a messy office...^_~`

If you're using FF like me, adblock may be "blocking" it!
Turn if off and then reload the page - should be there.

[And then later, after turning AB back on, I can hit the site and see the ad]

Holy Crap! And I mean this in a good way!

Damn... I'm so freakin' tempted with just the first day!

I will think long and hard... about this one and how much this may end up costing me in the end!
Great deal guys!!

Just curious, but I sent an email to the Troll Lords address over the weekend, and have not gotten a reply. Does that mean I've missed out on the sale item of that day? Before I sent the email, I tried to purchase the bundle through the link provided, but I must be really dumb. Couldn't figure out what to do once I logged in to Paypal. Figured calling on a weekend evening to place an order wasn't going to work.

No, it means its the weekend and Steve usually doesn't answer them. But all that time not looking at his email means he has an inevitable pile that creeps up on him monday, which he then ends up having to spend all day going through.

I don't believe so... just give them another day or so... and worse case, send another email. They got swamped during the last big sale so it's entirely possible that they just need to get to it.

As for the individual day sales, I assume they are on till the full 12 days are up. At least that is what I assume since the various paypal buttons are all still up.

Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong...

I emailed my request for Day 6 since I'm in Canada. Hopefully Steve will get caught up on the emails soon enough.

It should be since when you checkout on the PAYPAL cart you can clearly designate the number of orders you wish to receive.

I, too, was having trouble when I went to PayPal. It just asked me to send money without me seeing exactly what the total was, so I sent an email order instead but haven't heard back. I know that there is usually a long amount of time before the Trolls get to their emails, but I expected to hear something by now.

Also, I believe my wife ordered me one of those Troll mugs through PayPal but has not received a confirmation that the payment was received or that the order went through.

I am assuming there is a bit of a backlog...

Hey Folks, I'm running a few days behind. Orders have been processed that came in through Saturday. Should be caught up tomorrow.

So if you have NOT heard back from me by late afternoon tomorrow give us a shout.

Thanks for the support and patience.

Um... just to let you know, there will be two emails from me (from different email addresses). It wasn't because I was impatient though, I was having email related problems and I wasn't entirely sure if the first one successfully got through or not. So, if in doubt, go with the second email and not the first.

Gotta question for the Troll Lords.

I am thinking about ordering the Seventh Day of Xmas package with the leatherette books (The PHB and the M&T). But before I do, I would like to know which printing they are. Are they the current printings (i.e. 3rd and 2nd respectively), or are they the older print versions with more errors?

Thanks.

They are somewhere in between the 2nd and 3rd printing. The M&T has the most up to date version of the Poison tables though.

1st Day Stuff

Post by balrog62 »

Has anyone ordered and received the 1st Day stuff? I've already emailed Steve about it and I think he's trying to track my order down. My big concern is that there was a group of criminals caught just before Christmas. They followed mail trucks and UPS trucks around, picking up the packages left on doorsteps. I'm wondering if mine got picked up and then tossed out as "garbage" because they didn't know how to sell off gaming books.

I've received everything I ordered (and I ordered Days 1, 2, 6, and 12) except maybe GG3: The Secret of Smuggler's cove. I forget if I received that with my Day 12 swag. :\ I may have gotten it, but if not I'll give Steve a ring/email.

I have to say that whether I've ordered over the phone or by email/Paypal, the TLG team gives fantastic service.

Well, if your waiting for that from TLG, you might be waiting a while. GG3 is a Goodman Games product. ^_~`

I could be wrong, but I thought I remember Steve or somebody saying that TLG had copies of GG3 in, and were shipping from TLG. *shrugs*

I'm still waiting for my D12 shipment but I did receive my Kubla Khan modules, Blood Royal and a book of city NPCs that I don't remember being part of the deal? Freebie I guess.

Getting an extra PHB for $10, nice. No more fighting at the table between my 6 players.

I mean... yeah, that's what I thought. No biggie. I got everything I ordered otherwise and am glad I could get caught up on all the TLG goodies after 2007 turned into my worst year ever. I look forward to some gaming again in 2008 for some much needed escapism.
