12 Days of Trollness... What's in YOUR stocking?

Post by Omote »

What stuff did you get in the latest Troll Sale? There is some great deals in there that couldn't be passed up.

I picked up the SIXTH DAY, KublaCon goodness.

I'm also really, really eyeing a couple of those coffee mugs. I need one for the game table and one for the office. I'll probaby pull the trigger in the next couple of days.

I was thinking on getting the first and second day packages, but it all looks so tempting.

I may have to rob a liquor store before this sale ends.

I purchased days 1, 2, and 6 so far. I hope my Christmas bonus comes soon so I can buy things for other people this Christmas...

Yeah, I'm waiting, too. I wanna get a bunch of C&C stuff, but I'd rather do it all at once.

Huh, that's funny because I heard the 12th Day of Trollmas was a bottle of Jack.

I am thinking about ordering the Seventh Day of Trollness, just waiting to find out which printings the leatherette books are. I really wanted Yggsburgh anyway.

They are the printings with the least errors (grammatical for the most part) in them. IE 3rd print for the PH, and second print for the M&T. Seen that posted several times on this board and over at Necromancer that I'm confident even with my old brain I'm remembering it right.

I thought the product blurb even said it...

Actually I think that the PHB Leatherette is kind of a 2.5 as it has some of the errata fixed and others are left the same as the 2nd printing. The M&T is totally the third printing though.

Well folks, I went and did it.

I spent the gold and ordered the Troll's 7th Day of Xmas special. It was just too good of a deal to pass up.

Now, not only will I have Yggsburgh, but I will have two PHBs, two M&Ts, and two screens.

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas to me! And to all of you as well.

I snagged day one. The wife may or may not get one of the other days for me.

I'd love to get 7th day but finding gamers to use them with up here in this godforsaken wasteland has been problematic

Montague,

Sorry to hear that. No other players is a bummer. I hope that at least your wife is up there with you?

If I can ask, why are you up there in that part of the world? I was up in the southern part of Alaska for a short time when I was in the Army. Never went up near the circle though.

Or OpenRPG and SKYPE and play with anyone for free.

I still plan on getting FG2 with the C&C add on, but thats going to be for "regular games". Openrpg and SKYPE let you find out for free if you'll like on line play and find out if you'll even be able to find a good group to begin with.

Indeed they did! What an excellent sale.

I have tried to order the second day of Christmas, the seventh day of Christmas and A1-4 and 4 Player's Handbooks via the twelfth day of Christmas. I'm hoping to hear back soon with regard to shipping costs.

Yeah, the last day of Christmas is awesome! But with other TLG sales, I'm totally stocked up... or do I need a 3rd copy of Yggsburgh?

1 CZY Moatgate

1 CZY Town Halls

1 C&C Monsters & Treasure

1 A4: Usurpers of the Fell Axe

1 GG3: Secret of Smuggler's Cove

1 Aihrde: After Winter's Dark Folio

1 DR1: Dragons of Aihrde

1 LA: Fish for Breakfast

1 LA: More Beasts of Lejend

Score!

12th Day is a good one, I ordered an extra PHB and modules U1 and U2. However, since clicking on PayPal doesn't adjust the price, had to email my order to Steve. Hopefully he'll see that order sometime in the next month.
