What have you done to Aihrde to make it your own?
?
For crying out loud. Do your best with the rolls the dice have given you. This is what separates the men from the boys... -Kayolan
Well as mentioned elsewhere, I've taken sections (central areas - Wild Coast, Gnarley and City of GH) of Greyhawk and put them into an area NW of the Blacktooth Ridge. Here is where I've placed Yggsburgh, Dunfalcon and Maure Castle.
I've got Barovia (Ravenloft) in the Red Hills north of the United Kingdoms and west of New Aenochia/Outremere.
The Barrier Peaks I'll just have up north in Aihrde and the Lenore Isles will be a bit further off the coast of New Aenochia - further SE from Trier.
West of Botkinburg/Blacktooth Ridge will be desert with Tell Qa and Pharoah.
Other wilderness and dungeon adventures could easily be placed just about anywhere.
I've thought about make the United Kingdoms area the location for the Old World of Warhammer. Seems to be a possible fit.
The pantheons of deities are many and varied in Aihrde ~ chiefly Aihrdian, Greek, Tenoric and Greyhawk.
It's been rumored that Murlynd, Helen of Troy, Zagyg, Rhuveinus, Thor, Hercules, Aristobulus, the ancient King of Ethiopia, Athena and Garl Glittergold were seen drinking libations in the Green Dragon Inn.
Bah, probably an urban myth but now a legend.

My main changes:
* Placing my old Karstlands idea in Airdhe just south of the Rhunelands.
* Tinkering with beliefs and deities. Ideas I have had are : Unklar as an aspect of Set, Mordius reborn as Wenifar, Corthain being a new incarnation of the All Father, Thorax reborn as Set. (Note that this is not official in my campaign as of yet)
* Airdhe is a bit darker: The fall of Unklar left things in a mess. Old roads have broke down, most people have lost contact with other regions and the Climate is readjusting since the WD fell. Think the 'points of light' concept.
* Unklar as possibly being more than one entity: In my campaign sages note that the cycles of sleep and wakefulness and changes in attitude point to a possibility that there were several 'Unklars'. The most recent is the one overthrown.

AD&D per se is as dead a system as Latin is a language, while the C&C game has much the same spirit and nearly the same mechanics. --Gary Gygax 8/16/06

One other thing I am doing is working on adapting the Winter Witch from Arcana Unearthed to a C&C class known as the Cryomancer. They will have a specific role in Airdhe and were not servants of Unklar.
