If you play C&C and are not yet using SKYPE...

Post by slimykuotoan »

...then you are missing out on meeting and playing with C&C fans from all around the world.

Imagine if you will, being in the mood for a game and simply picking up a headset to play...

Imagine having loads of other like minded people that you can interact with anytime...

Imagine talking with those people without ever leaving your computer...

And know that it's all completely free.

So, get on board to enjoy worlds of fun!

My SKYPE handle is kuotoan.

Anyone who's a member, feel free to post your SKYPE names for others to add to their lists...and let's open the door of fantasy roleplaying to everyone!

Yep... I'm not a big fan of Skype so I haven't tried it yet. Fantasy Grounds II on the other hand is something I'm seriously considering getting shortly after the holidays.

I spend too much time at a computer, as is, so, I don't think I'll be doing any of these things any day soon. Interesting, though.

Does anyone use Openrpg? Its not as pretty as FG, but its free. I've used it to reasonable success.

Most of us use SKYPE and Open RPG, both free with how we use it. I'll be buying into FG2 myself, but only if all of my Monday night group gets into it as well, otherwise there is no point.

My SKYPE handle is the same as my name here: jaybird216

As stated in the other thread, I'll be picking up a copy of FG as soon as I can after Xmas. I was actually set to pull the trigger on it last week, but a few things came up that made it more prudent to wait.

SKYPE and FGII should complement each other, no?

I have played in 2 of kuotoans awesome skype games. He's a very nice guy and a cool DM. Unfortunately my time zone is about 5 hours later than his, so if I play until the end of the game it's about 5 a.m here, and I really need the sleep...

P'shaw, as if finding an online game were that easy.

It can be, if more people would start doing it.

The only reason its hard to find a C&C game right now is because the games of us willing to CK on line are already full.

So more CK's online will mean more players can find games on line.

Same for every other RPG.

Another FYI, our current Thursday game is looking into a "round robin" type of game session. Where we are right now using the "Go for Your Gun" C&C rules adaptation, but when it wraps up in another week or two we are hoping to keep the group going and switch out what games we play. So we'll play a different game rules set for a certain "adventure". When that adventure is over we will move onto another rules set.

So we are talking about doing Twilight 2000, Traveller, and any other game any of us have on our shelves and want to try.
