Q: [M&T] Missing Vampire Spawn stats?

Post by MightyCthulhu »

I was paging through the Monsters and Treasure book last night and noted that the stats for Vampire Spawn seem to be missing from the Vampire entry. I assume they are 1/2 HD like the wight spawn, but I'm not sure. The entry says "see below" so I assume it's a bit more complex than that.

I believe this was corrected in the second printing. There should be an errata link in this forum that covers the omission.

Ah, here we go:

Click on the link for Monsters & Treasure Errata and then scroll down to the Vampire entry.

The original manuscript had them as a separate entry, for total clarity on the subject; that part was cut, but the "see below," which was the reference to their stats, was left in. It was an editing glitch, so it is errata, as mentioned.

Pure laziness.
