Wow, great first session guys! Been a long time since I ran a game, felt good to get back into the big chair, lol. The temple area is a good place to stop til a forth night passes by. Just a reminder that everyone received 586 XP from the first session. Lots of baddies down in the depths of the Undermountain for sure, so be prepared
See everyone is 2 weeks time. We will use this as being the main source of correspondence for our Saturday c&c game.

To anyone else out there who would like to play, its 7th level, and we play every second Saturday eve. PM if interested. Will take up to 2 or 3 more players.

It wasnt Robert. The 4 of us were suppose to play Wulfgarn's Lejendary Adventures game but it got postponed and he asked me if I would run something c&c based, so I did I had about an hour to prepare, so never had time to advertise. If you are free on Sat evenings, ( every 2 weeks) u are more than welcome to play.

I can't promise anything but if I can I'd like to throw in......

Can I give my Pankrationist class a try? I'll adjust the one I posted for Slimy's game to 7th level and rework the history for which ever world you are running. Well except for FR. Reading all my old stuff for you game, I just can't get it to fit. I might just be to narrow minded....

Oh yeah LS Hope your wife is doing better!

I feel your pain on that front. A baby & one on the way.... real life is little sleep!

As to the LA game, I've been interested and read the rules but have lots of questions. Can I listen in one night?

Sure Lurker, you are more than welcome to join. I have the perfect way to get new players into the area the party is in. What is the Pankrationist class? Never heard of it. And yes, the setting is FR, which is all I run. You can down play your character to level 7. All rules as per c&c handbook. Except the ability scores based on class are rolled as per table posted by Wulfgarn in my other thread here:

Yeah, hopefully my wife will start felling better soon. She will be 12 weeks on Friday, so she should be in the clear soon, unless its one of those pregnancies that have the sickness going all term

As for the LA game, thats Wulgarns baby. You would have to have to talk to him, but I dont think it would be an issue. He may likely throw u in as he did to me last fall as opposed to letting u listen in, lol

It's a variant monk, or fighter depending on how you look at it, that I made. Its posted in the rules section of the site. I'd past a link to it but my net is acting up & unstable....... It is more a historic Greek MMA type of fighter than the zenish monk of the core rules.

Not sure about the class. I have opened up the classes to more than just those in the c&c book. If you check my House Rules doc and the blog, you will see 33 different classes. Now, if you are stuck on the idea of your Monk class, send me the link when your PC is up to it and Ill take a look, but I doubt I'll accept anything besides those listed in HR.

Rogo & not an issue. I'll pick something else from the other 33, besides duelist, there were some interesting ones. I still don't think the Pank would fit in FR any way.

Les will be joining us this evening which is great! Seems I am having an OpenRPG issue here. Not so much with their program as I think on my end. I have a Trojan that I am working on here to get rid of. Seems the more Virus/Spyware/Trojan/ blah blah type programs I DL/buy, the slower and worse the laptop gets
Anyways, we are still a GO for this eve. I managed to get OpenRPG on my old 2001 PC (Win 98) Its rarely used now, probably why it still works
So, unless I can get the OpenRPG working on me laptop, I'll run it on my PC, and Skype and all my d&d/c&c files on laptop (and yes, i have skype running on old PC, but nowhere to plug in mic, they were not very practical back then eh .....)

Game time as 2 weeks ago, 8 EST. See you all then.

There will not be a make up session this coming Saturday as I have to run a wake-a-thon on Sat eve. My shift is from 7 to 11 EST. So, the next scheduled game session for the Undermountain game will be the following Saturday, March 15th.

Good game guys. Nasty run-in with Rusty Monsters.... Weapon and Shield gone puff! Anywho, never worry, one weapons is as good as the next, I am sure the 'dwarf-friends' can find something else to use
Josh has a total XP for the eve that he is posting. It may change due to the Ring. We worked out a quick way to come up with the GP value, however it is not a c&c M&T item (big surprise...). When I come up with a more accurate value, I'll readjust the XP.

Next session, 2 weeks from tonight, on March 22.

1,800 (ettin battle) +161 (rust monster and "thing" battle) +157 (for the ring, subject to change) +100 (roleplaying bonus) = 2,218 (XP) each.

Checked on the Ring. It is actually in the Unearthed Arcana by Gary. It is valued at 1000 XP. SO divided by 5 characters (including Dwarven guardian), that is 200. Then my 1/4 rule for XP from treasure leaves 50 XP for each character. Hence the 157 listed by Josh should read 50 XP.

The total for each character is 2,111 XP
