Fire away my friend! I always like drawing Dwarves, and it seems you do too. Especially mad Barbarian Red Bearded ones!
Just started work on my Art homework set by your good self! I shall take my time with this one! Hope you have started saving for a scanner? That Lizard man you drew for Dragonsfoot looks great....I love the primitive turtle shell shield and club with a bird skull attached to render it more deadly! Nice little touch's.
Is that your Cat in your picture? What is its name? I have two cats Mad Miffy and Princess the 21 year old moggie!

Glad you liked the Lizard Man, ATOM. Seems like Chris wants to use it but my computer and scanner illiteracy may make that impossible. My scanner is a cheapo and only goes up to 300dpi maximum. Seems when I send him the scanned picture, he receives it on his end as a less than 2 inches wide picture. Looks fine on my end. I tried to make sure the pixel width was around 1900 and resent it, but he says it looks the same. Heck, I don't know what the deal is....maybe I just need a better scanner...or some computer lessons.
And yeah, that's one of 3 cats that we own...also got a new Flat-Coated Retriever puppy recently. The cat in my avatar is my buddy and by far my favorite cat ever....his name is "The Mew Kid."
I call him $#!@bird usually though. Don't ask me why.

If it is normal size on your computer then you must be doing something wrong when you e-mail the image. Does your e-mail provider compress the attachments you send? Make sure it is in the correct format such as JPEG etc. Try different ways to send it. Put it in a file before you email it, or vise-versa. Send it to yourself or a friend to test it. Also if it is too big your email attachment program probably will not send it. I'm sorry I can not be of more service but it could be anything? Try the simple options first!

Depending on how old your scanner is, it could have drivers missing or no longer compatible with current software. In fact, that really does sound like the trouble its having.

Nah, my printer is only a year and a half old, it's got minimum bells and whistles but she's still relatively new....it was a Christmas gift from the in-laws back in 06'.
I re-sent it and used the "file" button from the "Attach" instead of the "photo" button and it seemed to work fine this time. He got it and says it looks good.
Thanks for the help anyways, ATOM and Peter.

I have a question I have Photoshop 6.0
I know Peter answered this once before - but I cant find it.....
How do you take an image and alter its base colors to be one scheme - like what ATOM did with - one of the pictures of Glads back 5 or 6 pages....
I am as clear as a mud puddle - I hope you understand what I am asking.......

You could make it a duotone, though I'm sure there are other ways as well. Been a while since I used PS6, but I'm pretty sure it's Image>Mode>Duotone. That will open a dialogue box which ets you choose your two tones (usually black and some other color).
If "Duotone" is greyed-out as an option, you may have to change the picture to greyscale first, and then to Dutotone. Image>Mode>Greyscale then Image>Mode>Duotone

First... you have to set it to Greyscale. Then turn it to Duotone. After that you've got 16 million duotones to mess with.

OK, I just looked up Son of Kyuss on Yahoo and only pics of a band came up. I'm gonna be honest....I'm not even familiar with Son of Kyuss.
Actually they were the band that eventually became Queens of the Stone Age, after multiple roster changes. I only know this because I went to high school with them and did a bit of art for their drums.

That's cool!
Reminds me of System of the Down's drummer's drum set. He's had tons of famous comic book artist do artwork on his drum kit. The set is worth a fortune.

Thanks fellas....and to answer your question, dachda, Dragonsfoot is another site that has a downloadable gaming system which entails a monster compendium that needed some artwork done for it. Me and a group of others are contributing some pieces for it. These are my contributions so far, and I've got a Wight that I'm working on that'll probably get inked and finished on Monday.

Great picture Glad! Its like its exploding out of the page! The shading really works well too. Definate front cover material if it was colored. But as a black and white, it makes an excellent large interior piece that would not be out of place gracing any sort of professional RPG publication.
