This isn't an anti-WOTC rant, rather I've decided that I'm no longer even curious about the new game.

Indeedy, I happened over to ENworld and started hearing things like: reach weapons, healing surges, attacks of opportunity, and thought: 'Ugh, I can't go back to this'.

I even started feeling that ol' headache coming on.

Yeesh

I'm gonna save myself some grief and avoid trying to like something I really don't.

You don't want to use them up like candy. I mean, you only get 9 per day, and there is only one encounter per session... be gentle. Do the bull dance.

You can only move 25 posts at a time, Zudrak, or you have to sacrifice one of your "at will" abilities for this thread to do a double repeat, and then, only if you scream "Monkey Shock Viking Whirlwind Stroke Walk!" So, if you're willing, I'm able. Heheh.

I will most likely just borrow a book or two from the 'power gamers' that I know, who seem to have EVERY book that ever held a D&D logo on the cover.

The only thing for 4e that interests me is the FR book. And that is only to see what changes will be made and if I like them enough to buy the initial book.

I tried to keep an open mind about it, but all of this token stuff just kinda did me in. Oh well, to each his own. I can still use all of my old stuff with C&C. Enough gaming goodness there to last a lifetime.
