D&D 1e monster conversion question

Post by dutch206 »

Looking for monsters to convert to C & C, and I ran across a little mystery. I have seen references to Mezzodaemons and Nycadaemons, but I am unable to locate them. Suggestions?

Aren't they in the original Fiend Folio?

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Interesting. They are listed as possible encounters in the random dungeon tables in the back of the 1e DMG. Oh well, I'll just replace the encounter. Thanks!

If you read the entry in the DMG, it explains that they are found in the module D3 Vault of the Drow. Remember that the DMG was released after the MM.

For crying out loud. Do your best with the rolls the dice have given you. This is what separates the men from the boys... -Kayolan
