Setting you use most for C&C

Which campaign world do you use most with C&C?

I replied Aihrde because that has been the setting for the campaign I am running now, which is based around the A series environs up through Ludensheim (A4), with some side trecks to Ascalon.

My very 1st C&C campaign was a shorter, two-month deal in my homebrew world of Ilshara, but the current campaign is much longer and more stable so Aihrde is the winner for me on this particular poll. To me it's a mark of distinction that the Aihrde folio actually pulled me back into using a published setting rather than my own world... it really is the 1st since the original Greyhawk to do that.

I love Greyhawk, and always will. I have nostalgia for Mystara as well. Both of these go in my hall of fame, and perhaps some characters might find their way during a higher level cross-planar jaunt to Greyhawk (heh - I had Mordenkainen appear in Aihrde as part of my GaryCon homage adventure - he hired them, promising 40,000 and 20,000 g.p. per, to recover two artifacts that I added into the crypts on Mound Isle - of course he paid them in g.p. from an alternate world that were 1/10 size - it was a small parallel world! )

Heh, Just noticed Wilderlands isn't on the poll...

Really should be, especially as it's actually licensed and being produced AS a C&C setting now.

I answered Aihdre since it embodies most of the elements that I would have in my own home brew. That said, I do utilize many elements of the Wilderlands material that James has been putting out thrown in to the mix as well as the Yggsburgh material.

You should be able to edit, but the number of choices may be limited by default to 9 or 10. Peter should be able to increase that. If he doesn't see this post, perhaps you can PM him.

Aihrde is my default setting. Within I have placed parts of Greyhawk, Old World, Known World, Barovia, Wilderlands, East Mark, The Haunted Highlands and others.

They all fit remarkably well.

As of right now, I'm running a campaign set in the DL setting. But I would be willing to use any setting and look forward to running many different settings in the future.

Yggsburgh and the East Mark mainly. I have kept the world outside deliberatly vague since I haven't decided what's beyond the map. I am kicking Greyhawk around as well as Airdhe or my own homebrew but can't decide between the three.

Technically my campaign is a world, and has every setting I could fit into it. So technically I have Greyhawk, Wilderlands, Airhde, Faerun, Blackmoor, the Ravenloft setting, parts of Mystara, etc...
