Man I've had sooo much fun here.
I'm so grateful to have found C&C and this community.
Indeedy, I thought to myself last night: "Self, you're truly lucky that you've stumbled across such a great place to game and just plain have fun."
What a wonderful place this is to make contacts, discuss ideas, and hook up with online games.
And to think I gravitated here from the Goodman Games site, after hearing so much about C&C...
Simply awesome

For crying out loud. Do your best with the rolls the dice have given you. This is what separates the men from the boys... -Kayolan
I have to agree this is the best online community I know of, let alone one for gamers.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Same here. I wouldn't post so often if it wasn't fun to keep coming back.
It's a real rarity to be able to exchange differing opinions on a forum and not have somebody start spewing hate around, just because not everyone who replies also bellieves that, say, orcs should have a d6 for Hit Dice, or somesuch ...

Hahahaha. Say what you want -- I remember what ultimately happened to Orpheus ...

This is a nice place. There are flowers in vases and bars on the windows.
Oh, and these nice white jackets that Gideon and Fiff gave me when I first arrived, they fit nicely if a little snug. But that way, I won't hurt myself . . . or others.

But seriously, I've been in forums (I've left them) that were awful.
SOme folks think the anonimity of the internet allows you to be a total douchebag to everyone, and it makes for a bad forum experience.

If I left, it would be a better place.
Serl, you are the Doc Holliday of this board, as perceived in the movie, "Tombstone". You come across as a little rough around the edges and think you're worse than you are. Or say you're worse than you are.
But no, this would not be a better place if you left. Your handle on how to make things work in an RPG, strictly from a mechanical standpoint, is peerless.

I agree 100%! I almost never post anywhere else these days because no matter what you say, some troll (and not the fun Arkansas kind) will be along shortly to drop billy goat-scented dung all over your thread. Compare and contrast my Mr. Sasquatch thread here with the exact same post over at DF.
Not to mention the C&C online board in particular. I have to agree with the OP on that one as well. I've made some good friends, had so much laughter and have spent so many glorious hours having a one-sided convo with the mic on my iMac. My cats and my neighbors probably think I'm insane! Not to mention the weekly occasion of being virtually raped by the OpenRPG dicebot. I wouldn't trade it for the world!

This is one of the few boards I still post to. I gave up on the WotC board along time ago. This forum and the one over at ICE are great and are full of good folks.
