Thinking of CKing a game.

Post by nwelte1 »

I was thinking of starting my own C&C game.... might run the A series or Hunted Highlands or might run the Pathfinder Runelord series (though I need to purchase more volumes). Would be looking at Friday or Saturday every other week --- Assuming I get the wife's permission.

I would be fairly new to CKing, have only run two sessions myself but loved it.... Can't say I am a great story weaver but I give it an effort. (Besides trying, how else am I going to learn.) Once I get more comfortable I will probably throw in some homebrew....

Would use Skype/Vent and Maptool.

Think I would accept 4-6 people.... my wife likely being one of them.

Likely would play by the book with minor tweeks till I find what I like.

Thoughts? Interest? Flame? Ignored?

Would love to play. I cannot commit to anything regular on Friday nights but when I can, I have already started Martin's Freeport game. Now if he wants to run it every 2nd week off yours.... Maybe
Since I have already committed to his, when I am able to play on Friday nights, I will stick to that one. I think Tree is running Ravenloft on the off Sunday from Chucks game, so if I start playing more than 3-4 game, my wife may disown me

I am already playing and running too many games. I would love to play, but too many already. Sorry.

Maybe if these things ever happened in the day. I work nights. Long, boring nights, and, since I have to be able to have the phone and no audio around... well, that basically means: no. Not that you'd want me in the game, anyway. Ask Brian Miller.

Nate I would love to play in your game but I doubt if the Mrs. would like it very much, especially with our Friday/Saturday nights being full.

Go to it nwelte1, online play is extremely rewarding for a CK.

I'm going to have more time this late spring/summer so I'll check back later to see if you have a spot.

I'll use Lord Seurek and Treebore as my references...

It's too bad serleren, you couldn't get a second phone with unlimited evening hours, as Skype can go 'comp to phone'.

You'd still be able to do your job, whilst happily -and discretely- playing from a cell.
