Rulebooks and Sourcebooks

[quote]Code:

Adventures

[quote]Code:

Earthdawn

FAS6002: Earthdawn Gamemaster Pack

FAS6107: Horrors

I have some stuff for trade but it's quite a large list. If you have any of these and are willing to not have them, please let me know what it is you are looking for and I will see what can be done - I cannot buy these from you as I have promised my fiance I would not spend any money on roleplaying until after the wedding in October.

Thanks.

You looking for "collector" kinds of condition, or just complete and playable?

If complete and playable is good do you have the Arduin books for trade?

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Complete goes without saying, and I would hope the items were not in ratty condition as I would want to be able to read and use them - that is the point of having books, after all.

My original goal with the Arduin books was to resell them, and despite discovering they hold more interest to collectors (because they are likely the last printing Grimoire Games produced before Dragon Tree Press took over), I am willing to trade them... but it will depend on what is offered, since I would be very able to get at least $50 for them (and I know you were willing to buy them for that amount.) Just letting you know what is on the table. Please return the favor.

I would never consider trading with someone completely unproven, a complete newb to the forum. Just too iffy a proposition.

HJ,

Serleran is trustworthy. I have "known" him for at least 3 years now and know he has done many trades over on DF, and other boards.

Serl,

Complete, readable, and not ratty is how they were last time I opened their box. I'll look again tomorrow or Saturday and if the mice haven't gotten into them I'll let you know how much of the SR I have. I am sure its a good number, but I don't know what value to assign them for the $50.00 your talking about.

I imagine we can work that out via PM when it comes time.

Treebore ... I think HJ was pointing the fact that, for whatever reaseon, Serl's post count reset with rank of carrion.

Unless... there are now TWO Serls' !!

More than zero serlerans is enough to cause panic and worry. There would be disaster and world-wide calamity if there were two of us.

Strange, nonsensical phrasing? I think it's a clever little spambot.

My warning flags went up too.

The post count, plus the fact that Serleran seems the kind of collector who would know that Emperor's Choice took over the Arduin line some years ago, and that you can get new, verbatim reprints of the classic books here, or at Noble Knight Games right here whenever NKG replenishes their EmpCho stock.

Yes, Emperor's Choice reprinted many of the Arduin materials; but, before them, it was Dragon Tree Press who re-produced the Trilogy and Grimoires IV - VIII (not IX.) This was in 1986/87 - roughly 2001/2002. DTP did not reproduce the Arduin Dungeons, as far as I know, the first of which is Caliban - after 1986 (when GG stopped printing it) it was OoP until 2002 when EmpCho re-released it. As a matter of fact, if you go to DTPs website you can see they still sell the stuff.

And all of this is readily available on Wikipedia and/or the Arduin boards. If you're really Serleran, what's with the post count of 7?

And I can't imagine Serleran quoting Camille Paglia for any reason, except as an indication of what advanced mental illness looks like.

PM me concerning the last "game mechanics" topic we discussed in private. Then I'll vouch for you.

It's really Serleran.

Snarky as hell, but at least he has the decency to be genuinely funny, as per usual.

His "main" account now has that ocelot name. Not Serleran. As to why he started up a second account only he can know.

Just curious, are you planning on playing/running Shadowrun or just converting to Siege or something else?

Perhaps a bit of both, but mostly looking to play. I see no reason, and have no desire, to convert Shadowrun to C&C.

Updated the list. I have gotten four of books from the original list.

Also, I am now thinking of a SR-world C&C game... not sure if I'll write it all up, but will definitely play it.

You looking for any of these Serl?

Can't sell you mine. The damn rodents got into them. I need some massive rodent killing machines, bombs, poisons, etc... The darn things breed faster than the poisons can kill them, apparently.

I have bought from them 4 times. No problems.

Yeah, I needed 8 books. Ordered them. This will be the 2nd time I have bought from them - the first time, I got the wrong book (actually, it was advertised as being something it wasn't.) Thanks.
