Another weekend without C&C

That's two in a row.

Maybe I should try to organize a new gaming group.

Hehe, our group is on summer hiatus. Vacations, summer camp & summer projects, etc. We hope to start up in August to maybe catch up before the kids in our group go back to school.

It has been months since I ran my game. Too many real life things getting in the way.

Same here. We took off the month of July and now we will be getting it back together for August. Right when we were in the middle of Dark Chateau, no less!

Excellent, Ghul! Your campaign journal has got me fired up. As you know, my group is in Yggsburgh on the way to the Chateau. I'll have to read it again, just before we start to see how you run it.

Hmm, maybe my group can catch up and we'll meet ya in the attic! If our adventuring parties stay alive, that is!!!

How about 90 miles or so north?

What, in Butler county? If it's not too far for you, I'd have no objections.

We just had our second week without face-to-face. And the guys are wondering why. Ask the wife...

I have at least been able to continue my involvement in a couple of on-line games.

Sorry, I just now saw this.
I live up around Meadville. Which is about a 90 mile drive to Pittsburgh. If you were running once a month game, I might be able to swing that, but anything more often and my wife wouldn't allow me to play.

What is it with wives and gaming?

Do they think that weekends were made for mowing the lawn, helping around the house, maintenance on the cars, and other such stuff?

Oh yeah - that is exactly what they think.

It's nothing like that. It's just that we don't get to see each other very much through the week, so she likes to spend quality time with me on the weekends.

Well I say good for you then.

I have been trying to find some good quality time activites - any suggestions?

Of course, by the time I finish the yardwork, helping around the house car maintenance and other such weekend projects, it's time for bed anyway

Well, now that football has started back up, my wife and I watch the Penn State game on Saturday and the Steelers game on Sunday. It's great having a wife who likes football.
