FYI: Article on Teutonic Knights in Crusader #6

Post by sieg »

To all,

I allowed an error to creep into my paper in the "Historic Footnotes" section of the magazine; namely, the paper on the Order of the Knights of St. Mary (Teutonic Knights).

On page 22, the comment of "Fourth Crusade" being 1189 should read "Third Crusade" after all.

I assumed a different significance to the aforementioned date/reference, and we all know what happens when we assume right?

My sincere aplogies for any problems this might have caused....

That was no problem for me. One fo my wifes degrees is in history and she knew when the 3rd and fourth Crusades occurred, and set me straight right away. Which I confirmed the exact dates with some quick googles.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Wait, so that date was not in Sieg Reckoning? I have to go and modify my game calendar now?

You shall suffer for this injustice. ;)

And thus began the Serleran Fifth Crusade, and they feasted upon the orangutans, and the fruit bats, and the breakfast cereals...
