So I'm excited to check out the quick start rules for StarSiege and I can't believe someone finally decided to go with character creation guides for a game commercially and to even include multiple copies! Kudos! It looks like SS is getting a good treatment.

It is a little odd for it to come out before LAR... Although I guess SS could have been ready years ago like LAR. I do hope LAR and LEW get as good or better treatment for production.

Anyhow, I'll be hitting Free RPG day hoping to get my hands on Starsiege!

I agree. Since finding out about SS, I've been chomping at the bit for this one. Heh, I actually asked off from work on Gameday so I can get to my FLGS early and try to get the kwik start.

Thomas, you wont be dissapointed. SS has a very distinct Star Frontiers meets classic Traveller feel. VERY cool IMO, as I came up playing Star Frontiers back in the day.

Aster Rogues as a rule set was completed years ago - I guess its just a matter of implementation/Presentation to the world

The system is fantastic and really captures a different kind of Rp experience than does SS
