Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I grabbed it late last night... Now here's hoping that TLG throws up theirs soon!

Were people also paying 30.00 on Ebay for this one? Ah, the disposeable income folks who sometimes ruin the joy of Ebay. hehe Actually, I think that was a 4 E freebie going for 30.00 supposedly.

I haven't seen it go for that high. I seen it for around $10 I think. The fact that Paizo has already made it available as a Free PDF probably is part of the factor. Who knows if WOTC is going to do it with their offering and if they do, when.

Like I mentioned in a different thread -- it *is* tempted to throw up the copy I got of WOTC's free adventure since it's going for 'insane' amounts and ebay hasn't been flooded with it (yet). I originally got it to try it out figuring that there might be basic rules to play it without the books. Foolishly, references are made to the books even if they include pregens.

At this point, it becomes a conversion exercise to saw how much/little work it would take to run with C&C.

But as tempting as it is to sell it, part of me couldn't be bothered to sell on ebay. Trading it off to someone else... that's a different story.

They have also made this PDF availabe in print for $5.00, so don't go paying $10 on eBay for it.

Even though if Paizo was smart they would list it on ebay for $10.00

Interesting. I read on EnWorld that companies weren't supposed to distribute these things as downloadable pdfs. It sounded like a weird idea at the time. Glad to see that it doesn't seem to be the case!

Well, if thats the case I didn't read it in the "rules" for participation, and Paizo wasn't told.

Paizo did the same thing last year, offer the PDF and its remaining print stock for sale. Course the print version is now out of print and won't be released in that form again (they may at some point combine D0, D1 and D1.5 modules, but that's just something thrown out there). Goodman Games released their freebie as a $2 module (so technically a different printing). Not sure if Troll Lords pdf was the same as the print version..but those are the only companies that I know of.

As for WotC releasing the adventure as a pdf, don't count on it as they have not done so with the Game Day modules.
