Heathen PDF

Post by DangerDwarf »

I read through the PDF adventure found on the WotC Dungeon Web Page and was pleasantly surprised. Heathen is a pretty interesting module.

Without the Empire of Nerath to keep order, the borderlands have given rise to a large cult dedicated to the god Bane. They seek forceful converts in the various frontier villages, join the cult or see your village burn. The heroes are on a journey across the wild borderlands to stop this cult.

I love the theme and feel of the module, even if I wasn't playing 4e I'd run this using AD&D or C&C. Its pretty sweet. Even more so when you consider that it is a free PDF. Check it out.

Only irritating thing is that you need a log on to download it.

Actually you don't need to log-in. When it says

Go to the bottom of the page and hit "printer friendly"- new window pops up with the link

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I gotta give props to the artwork. Which is outstanding.

Yeah, it made me think Conan too. I think this is module is better conceptually, and better artistically than KotSF. Already been printed up and stored away for use in the near future.

Well, that just shows you how little I pay attention to the artwork. I didn't even notice.

Def funny-however I'm sure when things go to "pay per view" that little loophole will disappear
FWIW- There is another new adventure up today.
