The Adventure Begins...

Post by Inkpot »

So I had my very first official face-to-face gaming session with my new group. Everyone said that they had a blast - mind you, these are die-hard 3.5ers, so I was pretty stoked! At any rate, I've created a blog to record our ongoing exploits, and you can find it here: http://oldeskoolgamerz.blogspot.com/

Let me know what you think! Trollzah!!

Looks great so far. I really like how you got the party into the Rising Knight module, well they aren't there yet, but they are on thier way. Looks like you have some good players, the party needs a thief and everything will be perfect. One thing of note with this party, if I were a halfling I would run in fear. Every halfling they encounter ends up dead. Looks like your having fun, keep the journals posted.

Thanks, Kyle! We're all having alot of fun with it. As for halflings....well...I don't *really* have anything against them. It just sort of....happened that way. And, of course, sometimes things are not entirely as they seem....

Good Blog! My daughter will probably want to read it since her name (in real life) is Rhiannon.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

What are the chances of that, I mean really. What is the origin of that name? Welsh, Cletic? Or am I way off>

Rhiannon comes from the Mabinogion (which is indeed Welsh). She's the wife of Pwyll. Great story, actually..... =)

Its also an alternate name of the goddess Epona, horse goddess of the Celts.

That's a great opening to your C&C game, Ink. Fast paced with plenty of action right from the get go, very nice!
I'm looking forward to seeing how your group does in Malforten. 8)

For those who thought Sir Cyan had died, well....we had been using the Fate Points house rule...and everyone forgot about that fact until next session. So, I let him do it then and presto! Instant resurrection.
And between Sir Cyan and Yorta, the group is never, ever bored.
They keep adding players on me, though. I told them this last time that six was my max. Oh well, at least we're all having fun! Glad you enjoyed the read!

I was curious about Sir Cyan, thanks for clearing that up. I seem to have the opposite problem with players, our group keeps shrinking.
