Interesting dilemma...

Post by Inkpot »

In the PHB (2nd printing), it states that a cleric is able to use the favored weapon of his/her deity. Which is great. Problem is, we're using the old Codex of Erde and most of the deities don't have a favored weapon listed. Rhiannon, our resident cleric is a worshipper of Durendle, so I just assumed that the deity's favored weapon is a bastard sword. I'm a CK...we make s**t up.
So, does anyone out there have a list of the Erdian/Airdhian deities with their favored weapons? I could easily make them up myself, but I'd like to hear some sort of authoritative take on this first. Gracias!

That's great! So what do I do with the deities with no favored weapons? Thanks, Serl!

Heh, no problem, Inkpot. The hard part, really, was finding where I'd written it. Buried twenty pages under the C&C forum... almost lost. Should C&P it to a txt file... hmm.

Actually, I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been more call for this info. I hope the Trolls incorporate this into the Gazeteer.

Thanks for this, I've started playing C&C and starting using the setting with the little pieces I managed to scrape up.

I've got a bunch of the Erde stuff on order and will be using and converting that once I receive it and as I go along

Thanks,

This info is all there is the Codex. Unfortunately, it's scattered throughout the book. Some of it I came across in my readings. But it's very helpful that Serleran put it all together!

Heh, you have to read the book several times to really begin to absorb all the material there!

Would it be a cardinal sin if I said that I love the Erde/Airdhe setting but *hate* the codex?

I am really looking forward to the C&C version of Airdhe, I liked the Codex, but think there was room for improvement with how things where presented.

I'm leaning heavily to a box set. Look for a Gencon 2007 release.

What about that Primer for Rings of Brass? Is that still in the fold for release before GenCon 2007?
