Look at Main TLG site:
www.trolllord.com

As it says... Stay On Target... (it's on the updates past the announcement of Towers, the LA news)

I haven't heard anything concrete, other than its late. As usual, for TLG. I think the playtest may have prompted some serious rewrite, so that may be why its late. That is just a guess, though.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

So a GenCon release? Yep, time for its own forum.

Heh.. yeah, actually it might be time to simply replace the LA thread with StarSiege, and move LA to this topic area (other games).

Actually, we'll probably just get "SIEGE Games" and be done with it... don't need a whole new forum for every one.

I playtested on Starsiege awhile back. Seems like they were going to re-work one or two things based on some feedback. Maybe something to do with how armor works. I think my friend who ran our playtest sessions actually like how it worked initially, but others may not have. I can't speak for those other playtesters in other parts of the country. I enjoyed it, and look forward to purchasing it at GenCon.

I got a chance to sit down for a little bit and check out the quick start rules for this game today. My anticipation for it's full release is even greater now.

Some good looking stuff, and no HP's!!!!!

That was going to be my main concern. HP's in a game like this would have turned me off. I think my home brew may have found a new system.

Sweeeeeeeeet.

Can't wait for the full release.

I've been going through the Stardrive campaign book (for Alternity) and figuring out what I can do with it when StarSIEGE finally hits. Don't wanna let all those supplements go to waste.

I heard that.. my alternity colection is nigh finished, ive grown tired of the system but love the campaigns. The skills are good but the combat drags a tad. Seige has lots of similarities and in faster to boot. Alternity still kills 3.x though.

True dat on all accounts. The Stardrive setting is well put together and I hate to see it gather dust.

Yeah, I have quite a few Alternity books. I may have (for some reason) sold my Stardrive campaign book. Might have to get it again. Can't be too much on the back market. I've got most of the alternity books with the exception of a few.
