I presume you already have "The Arcanum" books? IE the predecessors to Talislanta?

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

They may have the others, but I figured showing you they had these two you might be willing to search for them.

Plus, as far as I know, their pricing is pretty fair.

I have The Arcanum, both editions, and all the Compleat books -- they are not Talislanta, by the way, but a system of their own. Talislanta came from them, though, so in a sense, they are sort of precursors.

Thanks for the links, but I don't do business with Troll and Toad. Ever. Though, I have looked at various other places and have found decent prices -- but, I prefer doing "business" with people I "know" like you guys. I could buy them at Amazon, but that's boring.

OK. I've done business with them, 3 times, and have been happy with every transaction.

At least you know they are there if other avenues fail.

Sub-Men Rising maybe the hardest to obtain as it was the last release from WotC for Talislanta. If you need one sometime around September, I may part with my double.

Have you gotten any of the 4th edition/d20 and newer books from Morrigan Press which also release Atlantis. (Though the company is now out of business)

I only have Atlantis: The Second Age from Morrigan, which is actually a reprint of The Arcanum -- I have not checked out any Talislanta material beyond 3rd edition, though.

And, yes, Sub-Men Rising is the more expensive / rare of them.

alas, I had all of the talislanta 1st edition line ... once upon a time. In a fit of panic I gave it away when I moved from CA. I regret that decision now. Talislanta is a great game and fun system.
