Thats when you pay annually, but its a price I could get behind. Now if only I liked 4E.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I changed my mind. This pricing is for their "current piece of crap DDI", prices will change/increase as they make it better.

So WOTC can still kiss my back side.

Like cable or TV co's who offer "Only 19.99 a month....for the first X months!".

lure you in, then smak you with higher prices. Wonder if this deal is because they don't have as many subscribers as they thought they would?

As long as the DDI solely supports the joke that is 4th Edition, count me out. The only reason I'd even consider considering it ( ) is for the Game Table - something that originally was going to available for free (of course, now looks to be the centerpiece of the whole DDI).

Meh, still not interested.

Nothing they talked about seems to relate to how I play the game.

the encounter builder is really helpful for those who run 4th ed.

If I was into 4E I would probably find value in it. But we are now done with our third game session and I am feeling absolutely no love or excitement for it.

Its an "OK" game, but I am feeling none of the vibe I have felt for the previous generations of D&D. None. Very sad to me. There was a time where I could not possibly imagine not loving D&D. That time has sadly arrived for me.

So the DDI is not a "value" package for me. If I liked 4E it probably would be.

I have no interest in DDI. If there was a package that would just let me access the magazine content, I would do that. Some of the content in the "free preview period" has been good.

I'm still not sold on the DDI (my wife is though), but yeah, some of the content has been pretty nifty.
