A sigh of relief

Post by seskis281 »

My wife Mona, who a few of you may have met at Winter Dark or LGGC this year, underwent valve-replacement surgery this morning. Happily, the surgery went about as well as it could - her heart restarted immediately and even paced itself without need for even a temporary pacemaker.

It was a long day, but with a very happy outcome.

Excellent news! Now hopefully she will heal perfectly.

How long is she "planned" for staying in the hospital?

Good to hear mate! Make sure to spoil her with meals in bed and chick flicks!
(not looking forward to my wife's turn for the same thing...she was born with pulmonary stenosis)

Wonderful to read that she's out of the woods on this; as others have stated, all wishes for a swift and uneventful recovery.

Glad to hear all went well. Dont let her try and do too much too soon. I over did it after my valve repairs a few years back and set myself back a bit.
