Back after a long Absence

Post by Combat_Kyle »

Howdy folks, I don't know how many of you remember me but I used to be a very active C&C here on the boards and at the Egyptian Con in Carbondale, IL. The last year has been really crazy for me in real life and gaming had to take a back burner for a while. Anyway life has stabilized and I am looking to get gaming again. I now live in Minneapolis MN, so if anyone lives in the Twin Cities give me a holler. Its good to be back.

Of course I remember - I was in your game! You might even find a post here and there around here where a few of us asked about you!

Seriously, you've come back at a busy time - check out all that's going on with TLG, and be sure and stop by the new Society pages and send info to Serleran!

Welcome back!

That could be a possibility, I would have to go back through old posts to remember where we were at. Giant ant cavern if I remember correctly. I forgot who else was in the game, but Ironically enough I still think I have everyone's character sheets still on my computer. I should have internet turned on at my new residence by next week (fingers crossed) at the moment I am reliant on coasting for wifi hot spots with my laptop. But I would definitely be into starting up a chat or skype game. Sorry I fell off the face of the earth and if I disappointed anybody. Anyway if any folks out there are interested in a game, I would be glad to run one or join one. Just shoot me a private message.

Sounds like your not familiar with Maptools from RPTools.net or OpenRPG. Since you haven't been gaming online that is understandable.

There are games on Sunday, by nwelte this week, and then mine on Tuesday (6 to 9 PM PST, 7 to 10 PM CST) that you could listen in on and see how cool Maptools is. Plus if your looking for a game I have room for one more. Its 8th level and going through the Fire Giants portion of the "Against the Giants" series.

Heya Kyle,

Posted on DF a heartfelt thanks for you. I apologize for not expressing my gratitude sooner. Right now between a rock and a hardplace. No transportaion, fragged my computer, no ready access to my bank account (their screwup), missing checks (again their screwup) and half deaf! Some will be rectified soon and I'll be completey free in February. Planning a move to Kentucky and hope to host the first Polyhedracon in Lexington in 2010
