Yeah, that is pretty cool. I'm ready for the empire to bend us to it's will. It's about time they got here.

So, someone took a mixed-perspective shot of a golf ball. Wow. Impressive.

Almost.

Gladly. At least I'd have enough money to make a better effect that that crappy giant golf ball.

But, I wouldn't consider the Death Star's arrival as indication of "we're all F^%#*&HC*&!!!111111" Lots of clones will find employment, and the economy will stabilize. Not to mention the reduction in street crime... amongst several other things.

I mean, really, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Some of those shots looked like our moon - slightly altered. Heh, hadn't thought of a giant golfball, but I like that!

Its still impressive work. And probably done without a lot of money, which makes it all the more impressive.

Indeed. Perhaps it's time for a "War of the Worlds" updated TV news broadcast. It's a shame Orson has gone to the great studio in the sky.
Hmm, what announcer would be convincing these days?

With the right kind of voice? Dude who did the voice over for Goliath on the Gargoyles series.

That same guy also did the voice for the Spawn series on HBO. Great voice.

Great video! I hadn't senn or heard about it, but that's pretty sweet.
If the Empire's coming, we'd better get us some Jedi up in here!

And for the announcer voice? I'd vote for Don LaFontaine.

At least we finally will get a #$!&! state budget passed.

And Vader is a much, much better administrator than da Guvenadda.

FYI, the shots with the howling sounds were taken during Fleet Week, replacing the F18s with TIE fighters.

Sadly, I just heard yesterday that Don LaFontaine died... No more "In a world"s for us. But if there's an afterlife, I'll bet he's already doing voiceovers there!
