Nostalgia Overload

Post by babbage »

Well, I bit the bullet. As some of you may know - I am going to be CKing next month, The Temple of Elemental Evil. I've started it oh, so many times, but the party just never seem to finish it.
I use Skype for voice comms, and kLoOge for our tabletop, other than that - it's pencil and paper.

Anyway, I was trying to find some new players and decided, out of the blue, to contact some old friends I used to play with in the 1e/2e days. I got in touch with both of them and both were up for it.

So, come next month, I will be CKing an old 1e favourite, with a party comprised of all my old friends (two others were already involved). It will be a great day - no matter what happens.

Thanks for giving me the nudge to get in touch!

Good luck! Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun.

It's been so long I barely remember my old gaming groups adventures in the Temple of Elemental Evil, other than the dread moathouse.

My favorite adventure!! My characters managed to wipe out the moat house, the first Level, and the second level and where making forays onto the 3rd when my campaign ended . It was a year and a half of AD&D goodness!!

We can probably assume one of two things:

It was fun or it never happened. Maybe it happened, but was not fun.

Hope it was a good time... three years ago. Better still if the Crusade is ongoing.
