Player Maps for Points of Light

Post by robertsconley »

Goodman Games has posted a pdf that has player version of the maps found in Points of Light. The maps omit or distort the information on the GM Map.

I couldn't get the first page to show anything. Might be the work computer.

These maps are excellent! I can't wait to get the book! Quick question: are these maps a smaller part of a bigger campaign setting or a bigger map? That would be interesting.

Thanks Robert!

That is FANTASTIC! I love this "module" because literally I can use it whith C&C on a moment's notice. No planning per se, just read the material beforehand and whenever there is a moment to get some C&C in, plop down the PHB, PoL and go. LOVE IT!

I have a setting in mind when developing my lands. However the focus on making sure each land can just "drop-in". The choices I picked for PoL #1 vary not only in location but in time as well to get the exact feel I am writing for.

The next one doesn't really vary much in the time element. But focuses on the theme of exploration of the edge your campaign world. As far as my setting goes it gives more info on the Grand Kingdom of Southland along with some of its rivals.

Once the series is established I see one or more of the lands being combined and expanded into a maxi-setting product.

The old DC Comic Showcase Comic had a different superhero each issue and was used to "try" out different concepts. I hope that one of the roles of Points of Light will be like that.
