Maps for Ravens Bluff

Post by Aladar »

Many moons ago, I bought a PDF copy of Ravens Bluff from Paizo.

However, the scan is not what it should be and I cannot make out the business and residence encounter numbers on the black & white "walk-through" maps in the interior of the book, nor most of the street names on the large color map. They are all blurred, even when enlarged, you still cannot read them.

I lost my original copy a while back, hence the PDF purchase.

Anyone got any ideas where I might be able to pick up either a hard copy of Ravens Bluff (other than e-Bay), or where there are better PDF files of the books and maps? Even if someone with a copy could shoot me a list of which numbers are located where on the maps.

I have the PDF copy from WotC already which is worse than the one from Paizo.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check Noble Knight games. They deal in OoP stuff and are pretty cheap.

JG,

I ordered a copy of Ravens Bluff from Noble Knight, the listing has it in excellent condition at $18.00. Should be here in about 3 to 5 days.

Now that one of my favorite RPG books that was lost has been replaced, I will have to search their shelves for others.

Thanks for pointing these guys out to me.

The Raven's Bluff book packs so much information in it's papges it's rediculous. I'm not that big of a fan of the Realms, but Raven's Bluff is gold.

Yep, its why I bought everything, and since I was in my garage from replacing my alternator this evening I even found all my Ravens Bluffs books and confirmed the mice hadn't eaten them.

Aye, I really like Ravens Bluff as a base setting for the Realms.

I still have all my other Ravens Bluff stuff, I just lost the City of Ravens Bluff book. An "ex"-friend of mine borrowed it along with some of my other AD&D stuff and then lost them, or so he claimed. He never volunteered to reimburse me for the loss either. Shortly there after, he came down on orders to go overseas (we were both in the Army) and I never saw him or my books again.

Up until now, I have had to make due with a PDF copy.

I actually enjoyed the 2e Raven's Bluff book so much, that while I don't run the realms I used it as the basis for another game that I am currently running. The economy, guilds, political powers, and the impact that powerful advneturers have on a city are themes that run throughout the campaign. This book has proved invaluable for this reason.

Ignore this post. My reading skills are poor to mediocre, apparently.
Anyway, I thought the free WotC pdf version was pretty good in terms of quality; it seems very clear to me.

Well, apart from the odd typo.
