Wardogs was just released this morning. Mecha/armor miniature combat.

That actually looks pretty sweet. They plan on doing a miniatures line or just jack what you can from whoever?

Sounds pretty cool. But same question as DD, what's the deal with the mecha minis? Because I have played lots of mecha minature games. What makes Wardogs better then Battletech, C.A.V., Heavy Gear. etc?

Well...if it gets popular enough that someone wants to make mini's for it I'll be more than happy to talk to 'em about it.
But...for intents and purposes, it's set up for using miniatures that folks already have on hand. One of the playtest groups used CAV and Brigade Models mini's in a really brutal game...I've used the clicky BT and original CBT mini's I have.

Combat is very very balanced....even infantry can kill a heavy mech or tank; one shot in the right instances.
