Sir Winston and the Unsolicited Caller

Post by jaybird216 »

Here's my latest brush belch. I painted it for inclusion in a charity auction for a local feral cat organization. No winter in San Antonio means LOTS of feral cats. Feral artists as well.

Enjoy!

That is simply EXCELLENT, Jay. Sir Winston's face is superb. I love him.

Hmm, perhaps my valet, butler and good friend Laroo the Gnomish wizard of Castle Frankfort would appreciate a cat of . . . Sir Winston's abilities.

In fact, I could use Sir Winston. The doves in my neighborhood are beginning to irritate the heck out of me.

Heh, and my own cat is scared of fish and hamsters and could never tackle a crow or dove!
Great rendering!!

[Oh yeah, thanks for my newest desktop background. LeRoy is ecstatic and is splashing me with water!! ]

Ha! I'm glad you and Laroo enjoy it, Rhu. Sir Winston is an actual cat, who loves to sit and watch me paint. Who better to use as a model when one requires a portrait of a cat?

One out of my three cats sits with me while I draw....unfortunately, if he gets close to my drawing table all he wants to do is swat my pens, pencils and brushes down on the floor. (The one in my avatar is the culprit.)

Great painting, Jay!

Good work Jay,
You could also pass Winston's illo off as a D&D Rahshasa picture.

And I reckon Glad's cat is just miffed at its owner because it's fat!

(well it looks fat in the avatar!)
