Hey folks,
Greetings from Taiwan. I have a question about the amount of art is the M&T. Does each monster have an illo? I need lots of pics in the C&C game I run with my students (they don't have the same cultural background). Currently I am using the 2e book for pics and stats from an OD&D supplement. That is about 350 pages too many for me to carry around. Plus, there would be less of a headache (although small) of converting numbers. I will prob just spring for the M&T pdf, but I wanted to have an idea before I drop the cash.
<--- Cheapskate... Hey, I have no way of seeing the book over here.

Art count in M&T
I haven't gone through and done a monster by monster evaluation, but let me put it this way. I do not remember looking up a monster in the M&T and NOT seeing a picture. So I would have to say, going purely on memory, that every monster has a picture.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

139 pictures before the treasure section. this is not one picture for every monster, as there are 203 individual monsters (fewer categories, naturally, as dragons are listed together and not all have pictures.)

That would have been true, had I done it all. But there were a couple other artists on the job too. ^_~`
