Crusader in retail stores

Post by jeff »

I get my Crusader through my FLGS and as of yesterday they still haven't received #11 let alone #12. Is there a problem with the distribution? Also, they've been told that StarSiege hasn't been released yet. WTF?

TLG and the distributer around here must be blood enemies. I've had problems getting C&C related stuff for awhile. When I was looking for the M&T I special ordered it at my FLGS, but it took Joe Goodman to personally contact our FLGS manager before we actually gotten through.

And they used to carry Crusader, but stopped (same reason?)

It's not just TLG ,either. WEG books are having a hard time landing at our FLGS.

I had been getting my Crusaders @ my FLGS (I'd much rather support them than get a subscription) but lately my issues have quit coming. I complained today and even showed my FLGS the PDF listing of the upcoming products to show him that Crusader is indeed a monthly product. I was told that he'd email the same PDf to his distributor and remind them that he has them ordered for me on a monthly basis. I hope that will get my magazines coming again. I'm missing quite a few and it bums me out.

I like my subscription. I guess I could convince my FLGS to get it for me and even carry extra's... but it is really hard to give up the convince of home delivery.

Maybe when the books start rolling in I'll talk to them about carrying The Crusader.

Gnome Games in Green Bay seems to be just a tiny bit behind - they have up to #17 on shelves (last I checked still had 1 or 2 #12's, a #14, and a #16 as well as #17)

Wish more were doing this well.

Seems like the store in Carbondale, Illinois stays on top of em'. Course the store owner sees the TLG crew a time or two each year at conventions. His store has a good selection of C&C items.
