I actually like a fair number too, even though I all too rarely get to play them.
Paladium Fantasy
RIFTS
Synnibar
Traveller (Modified Mega Traveller version)
Chivalry and Sorcery
Mutants and Masterminds
Shadowrun
GURPS
EPICrpg
Legend of the 5 Rings
I think I would like Warhammer too. I own it, but have yet to play it. I sure like what I see.
Now if just "like" is all your criteria, the previous is what I like enough to GM, the following I also would like to play:
Twilight 2000
Aftermath
Runequest
Cthulhu
Paranoia

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I am interested in trying out Arcanum/Talislanta. Am I remembering that right? Arcanum became Talislanta?

I recently trimmed my library down to one game for each genre or novel/tv/movie series I like.
Low Fantasy: WFRP 1 & 2e
Pulp Sword & Sorcery: C&C (using all my old D&D stuff and Conan novels)
Chinese Fantasy: Xin
Greek Mythological: Agon (works for other cultures as well)
British Mythological: Pendragon
Viking Mythological: Rune
Science-Fiction: Dark Heresy
Science Fantasy: Mutant Future
Science Funny: Paranoia
Supers: Silver Age Sentinels
Supernatural: In Nomine
Cartoon: Toon
WWII: Godlike (great background, horrible system, but very old school in some ways)
Novel Series: James Bond, Call of Cthulhu, Ringworld, Lord of the Rings (Decipher and MERP), Amber
TV Series: Dr. Who (FASA & Timelord)
Movie: Serenity
Obviously I'll never be able to play them all, but I like having the options...

Oh, I don't not like GW, but haven't ever seen any of the material. I'm very interested.
The others, I've played and have the games, except WHFRP - which I hope to get sometime.

LOL I've fallen in love with Rolemaster 2/CL . I currently play in a RM2/CL game on mon. I love the rules. Other than Palladium system , RM is the only rules hvy system I'll use . That said I'm going to get RM Ex. for a rules-lite version .

You mean to say that there are OTHER roleplaying games beyond C&C?
Seriously though... not counting the various D&D and AD&D incarnations, I've enjoyed playing or running the following:
1) WEG's Star Wars (2nd ed to be precise)
2) Shadowrun
3) Marvel Super Heroes
4) MERP
5) Call of Cthuhlhu
There have been others but these tend to stick in my mind the most for at least one reason or another.

That would be cool. I haven't checked it out because I already have my sci fi game, Traveller, and what I have heard of MA and its system, made it seem very incompatible. So I never checked it out and "bought into it" like I did Star Frontiers. So if you can expose me to it, even if I don't fall in love with it, I'll buy into it if I see a fair amount of cross compatibility.

Sadly, I'm not really familiar with it though now that I think about it, I seem to vaguely remember an article or two for it in one of the Best of Dragon Magazines... either volume 1 or 2. My foray into RPG's really at the dawn of AD&D 2nd Edition and where I happened to be living at the time, the pickings were slim and dice were a valued commodity!
However, since you mention it... I think I should try and track some of this stuff down!
M
*EDIT* - Hey... there is at least one mention of it. Rhuvein listed it!!

Yes, but I think I'm going to edit that out of there.
Jim killed my android TWICE in our MA game!!
The 2nd death was along with the death of entire adventuring party! TPK!!
Great game for sure!

Wow. Favorite non C&C RPG's? Well, I've just about played every RPG under the sun, or at least every system, including the strange lands of "Indy" role-playing games, such as Inspectres and Prime Time Adventures, even Dread. So you must understand how horribly torn I am right now.
But my Favorites? I'll only mention my top three, in no particular order:
1. Hunter: The Reckoning. It's like Mystery Men meets Call of Cthulhu. You are underequipped, undermanned, underloved, and yet, through human perseverence alone, you succeed....occasionally. But I like the roleplaying element that comes along. I have always loved the White Wolf system, but I loathe the setting. I mean, you have to read sooo much just to understand Werewolf society (Werewolf the Apocalypse is the only other White Wolf game I will ever play). And with the Hunters, you don't have this bleak angst permeating every layer of society. It's like, "Oh, I'm a vampire, life has no meaning, I have ultimate power, but I can't find true love." STAKE IN THE HEAD. Plus, you can run a broad spectrum of gravity for the games, such that you can't do with its other World of Darkness counterparts. And its funny that you have to talk your way out of situations with the police. It's not like you can turn into a wolf and live out of a dumpster for a few weeks. "Officer, I swear, the 16 year old kid was trying to kill me. Luckily, I happened to have a phosphorous grenade and a crossbow handy..."
2. Shadowrun. Yeah, the system is complicated. Yeah, the first-person shooter ruined it for many people. But if you want a deliciously cyber-punk game, this is for you. Ever since the SNES game, I've loved Shadowrun. In fact, the only successful LARP I've been in was a Shadowrun LARP. A lot cooler than it sounds. Then again, we had some pretty awesome people. A game where you can be a dwarf with an army of robots at your command? Sign me up!
3. Ironclaw. Black-powder, pseudo-renaissance, low-magic, politically-explosive setting with elegant mechanics and easy-to-learn character creation? Yeah. Even with the "furry" characters, it is still utterly awesome. The only problem (other than the furry-ness, which isn't that much of a problem) I can really find is that players need a large amount of background-knowledge of the world, and the game master must know a lot about the setting.
So these are my top three non-C&C rpgs. After posting this, I will probably slap my forehead at my choices, having forgotten something awesome. So these are just the three favorites I can think of right now. I'd recommend these games to anyone. They are happy fun.

1.) D&D 3.5 - I'm currently playing in one campaign and DMing another. I think I'm the first to list this here. edit: Never mind, I see cinderblock lumped it in with his "all D&D except 4e" comment.
2.) AD&D 1e/2e - I lump these together because I never had a problem combining them.
3.) Shadowrun - I haven't played this much, but back in high school we played a lot and I loved it.
4.) Call of Cthulhu - I really only play this at cons, but it's a blast every time.
