I would call myself a method actor. I tend to be a bit on the analytical side when I play though. I've caught myself overthinking a situation more than once.

Plot and Character driven.

I construct games around my players' characters, and build stories with plots uniquely suited to said characters backgrounds and personalities. The characters then have a built-in motivation to drive the plot forward without the need for railroading.

I'm about 30% Power Gamer, 30% Generic Roleplayer, and 40% pain in the ass for the DM/CK.

I don't intentionally cause problems, but I have my own mind for what I like to do with characters, and I don't willingly suffer railroading. If I feel a character would do something unexpected, that's what I do.

I like to roleplay a lot, with about one good combat per session.

I depends on the session. Mood changes, situations arise, and many factors are part of how each session is played. I like to play "characters" so I would say the act roleplaying is high on my list, but sometimes the system gets in the way of this [cough]3E[/cough] and the play style turns to all mechanical.

method actor, definitely. But who doesn't get a kick out of rolling maximum damage when you need it most?

That's why I don't run 3e games past 7th level.

I'm a method actor and also run my games where method actor style players will have the most fun.

Depends on the game:

GURPS= story/character driven with heavier emphasis on character-npc interaction.

RIFTS/TMNT&os= just roll dice and blow stuff up

Cyberpunk2.0.2.0= player vs player intrigue

Mutants&Masterminds or SilverAge Sentinels= fast action butt kicking with major plot twists developing on the fly

C&C= kill. amass treasure. build castles. hold court and sway nations.

Pathfinder = as above but with an old BattleTech wargamey feel
