How It All Happened

Post by Matthew »

I have a question about these series of articles. I own copies of the Crusader issues #2-7, but I notice that issue #2 and #3 seem to "jump" with regard to the "How It All Happened" series. Is there a missing article that connects "Way Back When" and "Live Action Role Playing in 1947", which feature in issues #2 and #3 respectively?

Wish I could answer this, but as far as I know, Steve has a stack of stuff written by Gary for inclusion in Crusader -- its possible something was shifted, or, that Gary just jumped forward finding whatever would have bene in there (assuming anything) was boring or not worth mentioning.

NO there is not one missing. These were just short essays by Gary that charted some of the early influences. I published them as he gave them to me.

Thanks!

Okay, just seemed to be a discontinuity between what was said in issue #2 would be in issue #3. I suppose he must have changed his mind, or a prospective article never found its way out of the stable. Thank you for your responses (and for issues #8-13, which safely arrived the other day).
