I hate to quote a source without the link, but back in June TLG Steve did say on the DF boards (I think) did say that he was hoping that the Primer would be out in time for GenCon. Since we know that didn't happen, we could assume that this book is close to release? Maybe.
Coming from sombody who is relatively uneducated in the ways of Aihrde, this is something I'm lloking forward to.

I'm really looking forward to this as well, I'm tring to decide where to place my next campaign. Right now I have 3 piles of modules, ones for Aihrde, ones for Goodman Games DCC sestting, and some that can go either place.

The first release, The Rings of Brass: The World of Aihrde, is slated for July/August and is on target for that date (like you though, I hate being too exact in my announcements). You'll be able to see the cover pretty soon when the new webpage launches. Its a 24 page Gazateer and introductory book for the setting.

Steve

I recall this post from Steve down in the Aihrde/Rings of Brass forum. Looks like it should be close to completion!

Well, I was going to try your suggestion but I ended up just boxing up a few empty bottles of Jim Beam filled with mostly smoked cigar butts.

As for the strippers...

I had them mail it when we were done. Hope I got the right address, it was a crazy night.

Oh well, at least it is the thought that counts....

right?

Then, no worries, you'll be OK!

Uh..actually guys. You might not care for the strippers I sent.

After the whole "sweet meat" discussion I thought it prudent to send the police man and construction guy from the Village People type strippers.

I dunno, They may write Airdhe in a way we don't want to see it. Imagine the new take on the "horned one" after that...

Subliminally Red

Post by DangerDwarf »

How close to finish is this? I must say that this is probably the most highly anticipated work I'm waiting for.
Aihrde is quickly becoming one of my favorite settings. Sure, I've got the Codex and the little Winter Dark book but I'd like to see the settig in full C&C glory.

Any chance of getting an update on this project or something?

PLease! Don't make us suffer any longer!

It's been a horribly long time since we've seen an update to the status here.

Yes, I have built up a sizeable militia. We are prepared to blockade Arkansas and cut off the beer and liqour supply lines into the region. We have also cashed in our savings accounts for one dollar bills to lure all of the strippers out of the Natural State if our demands are not met.

I have to say DangerDwarf... that's simply too cruel. Should these measures get enforced, I feel I might have to set up a bootlegging operation and get the Trolls some good ol' Canadian Whiskey!

As for the Strippers... well they're on their own!

Make it bottles of Windsor Canadian and it will speed up their surrender.
That stuff is awful. I picked up a bottle of it yesterdya and urgh....

I usually drink my whiskey straight, but the Windsor I had to mix with coke to try and cover up it's taste, and it was still awful. I suppose for only $9 I shouldn't be suprised, though Kentucky Deluxe is the same price and I don't have any complaints about that.

I'll up the blockade ante with adding that the strippers will be forced to spend a week with me. Trust me they will not return the same !

Also all the beer in Arkansas will be replaced with Milwakees Best.

Hadn't tried it.

Usually it's Seagrams or Kentucky deluxe for me.

How is it straight?

Smooth as a babies bottom. I like it on the rocks. They have a special malt that is aged 25 years, a bit pricey but good stuff. Their standard bottle is about 17$. Its nice Irish whiskey.

Aye, it's The MacCallen for the likes of me. Although, if it's summer I'll take a wee bit of ice (for the first one)!

Weird I worked up a goofy reply but it wouldn't let me post. Instead I got this message.

Come to think about it, I was reponding in a Scottish Burr, babbling about wee drams of Scotch and using words like "laddie" and sitting in one's cold castle drinking, etc.
What else? I mentioned hounds, valet & gnome.

OK, no message now, when I preview it. Hehe, maybe it only happens when I put them all together in one run-on sentence.

"Aye laddie, ya see this neck? It looks like a vag***!" Heh, I almost lost my lunch the first time FB mouthed that line at the end of Austin Powers 3.
