While it's not quite released yet, the new zombie RPG from Palladium Books called DEAD REIGN reeks of coolness. I'll be trying that one out for sure.

AFMBE is indeed a neat little game. I'm not a huge fan of the Unisystem, but the flavor, settings, and zombie rules in the game make up for it.
Last Night on Earth is an AWESOME Zombie Board game. I highly recommend it. Best part: it's best of both worlds. You can have up to four people playing the "Heroes" while up to two players play the Zombies. So it's both competitive and cooperative.
Plus, there's nothing more satisfying than having someone toss a gas can at some Zombies and then blasting the can with a flare gun.

I agree with Cheep about All Flesh Must Be Eaten. A very good source of campaign info but the Unisystem is rather White Wolfish. If you like Storyteller you'll probably like the Unisystem. If you don't you won't. Oh to be fair US did overcome the Storyteller problem of higher dice pools giving you greater chances to fail...???
Zombie Run is more of a module for Savage Worlds than an actual campaign setting. Its fun for a few nights but the GM has to extrapolate quickly after the set scenarios are run through.
Its not an RPG, but one of the best Zombie boardgames I've played is the old 70s SPI Dawn of the Dead boardgame. It works well both as a solitare game or a competition game (with one player being the zombies). It even works well for 2-4 players playing the heroes and competing against the 'system' to win or lose together. Oh, and before I'm asked; yes there are 4 counters for the players...Steve, Fran, Peter and Roger.
Its a pain to find used nowadays but the .jpgs of the rules, board and counters are easily found online...
I've played Twilight Creation's Zombies! a couple of times and its fun in an abstract sort of way. But I love the horde of plastic zombies!

Not really a RPG, but you might try Zombies!!! by Twilight Creations, Inc. It's a simple game where you move along a board (made by geomorphic tiles) and battle zombies. You get a hundred little zombie guys and in later expansions you get army zombies, dog zombies, clown zombies, and probably others I'm forgetting at the moment.
And you can buy extras like glowing zombies or zombie babes.
If you go to their webpage, there are free downloadable rules for making Zombies!!! into more of an RPG. I haven't tried those rules, but they look like a blast.

For Boardgames, I highly recommended Last Night On Earth. Its a little heavy on the luck swings, but a great game if you don't go into it with too serious of a mindset. I picked up the expansion (growing Hunger) about a month ago. It was a little on the expensive side for what you get, but I have enjoyed it thoroughly and do not regret buying it
Zombies!!! is fun.. but it drags on in the end game. I've probably wound up calling as many games as Ive finished. The only time this gets any play these days is playing one of the expansions on their own.. makes for a shorter game. But most of the time when we want to play a zombie boardgame, I break out LNoE. Although the amount of times I've used (outside of playing Zombies!!! of course ) the hundreds of Zombie Figs I have from Zombies!!! makes the purchase more than worth while
Also, Ive mentioned these before I think but anyways, Zombie Plague (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/7514) and Dead Of Night (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/27736) both look like promising Print and Play Zombie games although Ive only had one chance to play Zombie Plague, and I haven't printed out Dead of Night Yet.
On the RPG side of the fence, I ran a GURPS zombie game a few years back, although the group fell apart before I was able to really get the game going I haven't had a chance to check out AFMBE yet, but whenever someone mentions Zombie and RPG, AFMBE is suggested, so I probably should give it a look.

there is a call of cthuluth sourcebook called "Blood Brothers" and "Blood Brothers 2". Both are senario books based of of horror movies. The first based on classics where the sequal are based on classic "B" movies. Definately check it out.
They both have zombie senarios. However, the greatest module is "El Tigre e la Pyradimae del Destruction." nothing better than luchadores verses aliens.

Any links on the Dead Reign or Dead World info??
I found the "Last Stand 2" game is much better!
Ive been thinking about getting Zombie Run & using it for a short online campaign. (no printer right now though...)

I cannot disagree with this more. I utterly DESPISE the Storyteller system in every iteration, but Unisystem is my current "go to" system. The only thing it has in common with ST is that the scale is from 1-10 for attributes and skills. It has Qualities and Drawbacks, yeah, but a TON of games have those.
I've also freelanced for Eden as well as (now) for the Trolls; they've had release problems over the past few years, but are a stand-up crew. George is a great guy, a lot of fun to hang out with, a great graphic designer/layout guy, and puts out top-notch product.
For zombie games, you CANNOT go wrong with AFMBE. It is, and will always remain, the cream of the crop.
I just found another one that you might like to check out, although its not a full game on its own, Its a setting hack for Spirit of the Century
its called After the Rise, and is available here
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/FateRPG/files/
you do have to sign up for the yahoo group to download it, but its open membership, so Its not that big of a hassle.
