Anybody using the Scarred Lands in C&C?

Post by MithrilKnight »

I'm a big fan of the Scarred Lands setting and I've been using it in my D&D 3.5e game. We'll soon be moving into C&C and I'm wondering if anyone has experience converting the Scarred Lands materials to C&C. Any important modifications I'll need to make other than the obvious ones? Anything else I should keep in mind?

C&C seems a little more "dangerous" for characters and I like that for the Scarred Lands.

I use certain supplements, such as City of Mithril and the City of Necromancers (blanking on its proper name right now). I have found it no harder to convert than 3E itself. Which I think isn't hard at all.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

That's good to know. One of the draws of moving to C&C was it looked so much simpler to run with the plot threads the Scarred Lands books lay out. Trying to come up with all the stats, feats and skills for all the npcs and monsters seemed too much work in 3.5e.
