Crusader No. 13
The Crusader is a Journal dedicated to games and the gamers who play them. Within its pages lie a plethora of articles that touch upon many of our common interests. Though each issue sports at least one crunchy bit rules article for Castles & Crusades and/or Gary Gygax's Lejendary Adventure, the magazines focus is much more broad. The Journal offers articles that range from the common and simple How To articles, to advice, fiction, poetry, humor, art and more. Feature articles include the following:
The Castle Keepers Guide: The most talked about and asked for C&C product ever. The CKG is coming soon and were going to open the doors to a little bit of the fun locked inside. Have a second glance at your henchman folks, he might not be as loyal as you think!
Regular Columns:
Dweomercraefters Den: A Final Look at Castle Zagyg Upper Works. The last frenzied days of production and er, counter production.
Auld Wyrmish by Mike Stewart: Mike takes a look at Arms and Armor in Castles & Crusades.
Hammer & Anvil by Casey Cannfield: More hammering on how to create games for fast and fun play in the role playing universe!
Aihrdian Chronicles (Fiction): Prince Meltowg returns!
Cartoons: The Cup of Sac by Jason Walton and Steve Chenault & more from Tom Wham!
Other articles include:
* the Angry Gamer
* Game Reviews (by James M. Ward)

Steve beat me to it,
I've very proud to add my note to the fact that 13 is shipping. I think there are some fun things in it.
You all might be happy to know that 14 is finished in the can and the trolls are working hard to get it out soon as well.
I just finished the game review for #15 and I'm working on a book review as well.

While I'm thinking of it I would ask all readers of this forum to seriously think about subscribing to Crusader magazine. We are going to 36 pages in December and now that I kinda know what I'm doing we are going to have lots of fun things happening in 2009 with the magazine. It would be worth your time to sign up and it would help tell Steve that he had a good idea when he hired me to be managing editor.
