See the part where it says "Inquire for Terms?" Well, the terms are, ya have to be active military personnel for that one. Its noted on the main page website.

Ebay's got some good prices, MacLeod...worth checking out. Not 50%, but still decent.

True.
I was hoping to give my money directly to TLG though! x_x I'll just have to keep waiting...

Well, I should probably just wait until the new printings of the PH and M&T anyways, yeah?

Probably a good idea. You'll get the updates on a couple classes that way then.

Save your pennies and you ought to have enough by the time they come out.

Time to go penny hunting, gorshdangit.

In all honesty, I'd probably be able to get them next week... ugh... The next printing of the PH isn't until May. I'm not sure if I can hold out that long.

Isn't it neat how you guys bash and hate on me in other threads but are so nice in these other ones?

*chuckles* You think that's hate and bashing? You'll KNOW when I bash on someone, believe me.

Scary!
I'm generally a calm d00d but that doesn't stop people from ahsploding on me. Must be that strongly opinionated thing I do.
Let me see here, plenty of SIEGE engine flavored goodness for our stew... So's we got Fantasy, Post-Apocalyptic, Pulp, Sci-Fi and Supers. Most of which is still in development. I feel like I've stumbled upon a gold mine that keeps getting better the deeper I go into it.

Think of the "exploding" as constructive criticism, if anything.
And honestly, yeah, I'd wait until the nex printings came out. But if you can't wait, there is ebay. I'd prefer to give my money directly to the Trolls, too, to be honest.

Post-Apocalyptic

Yes, two varieties of it in fact. One by TLG and the other not.

Competition within an engine. Interesting. I didn't realize TLG had a Post Apocalyptic system in development! The comparisons should be wild and rampant.

No, they focus on entirely different concepts. If you have any experience with these, think Aftermath! or The Morrow Project vs. Gamma World. Or, "war / survival" vs. "zany / weird / survival."

Unfortunately I have never actually played a Post-Apocalyptic based RPG before. Unless you count Fallout. @_@

But yes, I also wish to know the above.

As I understand it, the "war" version is TLGs. The other is mine.

Man, I haven't heard the name The Morrow Project in a long time. That game always game me a "creepy" feel. It would be very interesting if the Trolls did a game in a similar vein.

@Serlean: Given the massive development times... Perhaps I will check out one of the titles you mentioned in the post before last. Any in particular you would recommend?

Neat. I'm willing to take a look at both but "zany / weird / survival" sounds awfully interesting.

Which would make for a damn fine paper and pencil RPG.

I'm not serleran (), but you might want to check out Mutant Future, a simulacrum game of the old Gamma World RPG.

I wonder if you could do a "Fallout" setting with MF?

In your opinion, do you think StarSIEGE would cover it better?

For me, yeah. I like the SS rules and it gives you all the tools you need to do it.

I don;t know about Mutant Future, but you could certainly make your own paper & pencil RPG from the Fallout 3 Offical Game Guide from Prima. The first 30+ pages of that full color book are filled with RPG stats. Practically the paper and pencil RPG is already there. Just need a simple rules system to run combat and skill usuage.

It's GOOD!

Yes, sir or ma'am, it would. I'm not sure how iconic Perks like Bloody Mess would work but it would most likely require a descriptive GM. Hm... I want to be a Deathclaw!!!

That's interesting. I'll have to thumb through the book next time I hit Wal-Marx. I wonder if someone's already did the work for us. Maybe I should do some Googling.

That is no surprise, considering Fallout is the offspring of the Wasteland (one of the best games, in my opinion, ever made) computer game who had, amongst others, Michael Stackpole as a designer. One might recognize that name through a wide variety of ways -- Grimtooth's Traps, Tunnels and Trolls, etc ad nauseum.

If you didn't know better, the first 30 pages of the game guide reads very much like a standard paper and pencil RPG. Though MacLeod of the clan MacLeod makes a good point about certain descriptive abilities within the game.

BLOODCLAW YOU ARE!

Now back to your regularly scheduled Supers game.
