I was looking at the world map again when a couple areas caught my attention. So, what can you tell me about Lake Vanhir and the Channel Lakes?

Ahh Lake Vanhir is a huge lake which lies upon Lands consumed by Chaos and Horror!. See the forthcoming Tainted Lands....
The Channel Lakes are where the first Sentients took to wandering and as such are filled with the echoes of the Language of Creation as sung by those trees so many thousands of years ago. The Lakes are held as holy ground by the elves, fey and other wood sprites. They border of course the Marl and often the targets of the orc warlords who still live in those black mountains in the crenelated castles.
