Peter Bradley wallpaper

Post by glaive »

Long time lurker, first time poster. I just started my second C&C campaign, a the players are eating it up! It's a cool mix of late 30-something players and early 20-something players. It's fun to RP stuff instead of making a DC check when the young guy playing the mage tries to do something. The "Oldschool Gaming Primer" was spot on when it highlighted the differences between 0e play and TETSNBN play. Once I get to throwing some Arduin Trilogy content on these players, they are going to freak out (in a good way).

Anyhoo, what I'm really after is some good desktop wallpaper, preferable widescreen format (MacBook Pro dontcha know). I love PB's illustrations in the PHB, and am wondering there's any of his work available to ogle on one's desktop.

Thanks,

Scott

I suppose I ought to get around to making some one of these days. I'm still a bit twitchy about doing such things since I've had enough of my art ending up for sale from some other folks who claimed to have 'redrawn' it.

Well, that sucks. How about olschool-oriented wallpaper? I lost interest in fantasy game art around the time Easly started illustrating for TSR.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

*coughs* It should be noted that Elmore, Easley, Caldwell and Parkinson are 4 of my main inspirations.

I'm just not a fan of 'fantasy realism' in illustration. Everyone has influences and preferences. Mine are probably colored by nostalgia and early exposure to fantasy art. I like MAR Barker's Tekumel art for similar reasons. Your published stuff has a particular look to it that's attractive. Maybe it's the abundance of nubile females

Trying not to be. I'm just trying to make my art relevant. Don't really care about me. ^_~`
