First Edition Troll

Post by ATOM »

God bless Jim Holloway and his First edition style Troll. I really love that old look! I have tried to re-create it here.

I like this troll style too. It reminds me of the troll from The Three Billy Goats Gruff fairy tale. Much more old-school.

Hey, Atom!

Just heard back from Jim. States he loves the troll - although, he didn't like his artwork being referred to as that "old look"!
Says he's working on an updated one and will post it here as soon as he sends it my way!

Excellent news Deogolf! When we use the term "old" or "old-school",

we use it with reverence, reflection, and nostalgic love my friend!

I have to say I like the no-eyes, is that a corpse, look of the classic troll over the new versions. Much more scary in my opinion than the newer interpretations of the classic drawing.
