Uhh, we're talkin' about jelly beans right?
Whew, thought so.

Hello all!
Just joined the forums today and looking forward to jumping in to the C&C world!
About me: 37 yrs old, live in Orange County, CA, married, kids, etc, etc...I work too much and playing rpg's gives me an excuse to spend time with friends and do things that aren't related to work.
I found C&C at Gen Con last week after having enough of the garbage that WotC keeps giving the masses, ie 4th ed. After spending time at the Troll Lords booth and getting a run down on what the game is and where it is going I was sold. Geez, where has this game been and why didn't I find it sooner?
Cheers!

WHOA!
Now there is something I didn't think existed.. another person from Orange County interested in C&C! Welcome, Rhone!
I'm not the only one here anymore!
I don't think it let me post the first time... if there is a double post I apologize. I just got back from Gencon, where I played C+C for the first time last Friday night. I liked it so much I went to the booth on Saturday and bought the players guide, the monster guide and an adventure! I'm really glad to be here, and I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi there
Well lets start with the basics, My name is Andre, Im 25, married and have one kid (Liam, he just turned 3). I Live in Montreal Canada, work presently as a computer technician/assembler/warehouse manager at a small computer company.
I have been RPGing since grade 6, which would be 1994. I mostly Played/DMed AD&D 2nd ed with a (very) Brief period playing 3rd in addition to playing/Dming a bit of WoD (mostly vampire and werewolf) with a small spattering of other games (GURPS, Shadowrun, FalloutPnP and probly a few others im forgetting) Ive also recently started playing warhammer 40k, but its a little to money/time intensive for me, so it has taken a back seat to boardgames and RPGs
Ive been trying to get my old role playing group back together, but "real life" has a nasty habit of getting in the way (right now our schedules allow about 1 night long session every month or so, but things should get more regular once summer is over)
I heard bout c&c on a message board somewhere(cant for the life of me remeber where though) so I found the forums here and picked up the PHB and M&T and am soon going to try a few test sessions with a couple people from my group whos schedule are most computable with mine.
Anyways, thats about it, Im looking foreward to trying the system out and hopefully, my players will like it as much as I think I will. Im also really looking forward to treebores Ravenloft game this October. I DMed a long running ravenloft campaign a few years back and Loved the setting, but never managed to track down a copy of the Castle Ravenloft adventure, so I cant wait to try it out, and seeing Ravenloft from a players perspective will be a nice change of pace as well
anyways Ive rambled on enough for now I suppose, and its almost time to head out to work, so until later, farewell

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Hey, folks!
Been lurking on the boards for a bit while I've been ill and dealing with other life-stuff. At one point in my concussed and fevered haze I came across a D&D 4th edition thread where C&C was mentioned (over at the wotc boards, I believe)... I checked it out and am happy to say that I have fully hopped on the Crusade Train.
As for myself, I just moved to Victoria, B.C. in lovely Canada from Seattle, Washington. I am married, with two awesome kids (Drake, 3, and Vance, 14 months) and a great dog named Lizzy. I've been gaming since summer of '84 (ahhh... AD&D) and I'm just about 32 now... so, I guess that's most of my life, right? I love rpgs and have always tried to make time for them.
The forums here seem great... You seem like a nice bunch. I'm not the most dedicated forum poster, but I do like to read through when I get a chance. As for C&C, I'm putting together a group with my old gaming buddies from the States via Fantasy Grounds. However, I'm looking for fellow gamers here to meet and play with... Anyone reading this live in Victoria?
So, yeah, good to be here. I... uh... don't really know what else to say... well, other than the fact that I really, really dig tacos, bacon, and cheese. I could go on and on, but I've probably rambled enough.

Dude, I know it's on my list of "food to prepare later".
In fact, it's not really a list... more like a mantra. And a very focused one at that.
ETA: Oh-- and I found your Renegade's Guide to be very cool. See? I've been a good little lurker.

Yep... tonight will be a taco night! Oh... and I'm glad you like the Renegade's Guide. I have a lot more stuff for it but haven't really had the time to do much on it for the past several weeks. However, I expect to have a bunch of stuff added by the end of September.
A few things that are on the top of my list of things to add are:
- Career Dual-Classing (a dual-classing rules variant)
- A couple of additional (play tested) races
- A couple of other rules revisions and clarifications for existing PHB stuff
The overall scope is a supplement but I'm putting up sections of it up as they get finished up and tested.
Eventually, I might also get around to putting up some of my campaign logs under C&C.

Hi
Thought I would say hi, since that is what this thread is for.
I'm fifteen years old, I have been gaming since I was eight. I have two little brothers, and live on a busy farm, which contains over 40 chickens, 2 ducks, a turkey, 2 horses, 13 goats, 3 dogs, 9 puppies, 2 parrots, effectively 9 conyers ( not going to differentiate between a few breeds), 6 cockateils, 5 indian ringneck parakeets, 1 normal parakeet (sorta ) and watch over a few wild birds I rescued but have successfully released.
Just thought I'd throw the numbers out there . I am an artist and hopefully a campaign world creator in the furure
gaming life:
Favorite class: Druid
Favorite system: C&C
Campaign worlds played in that are related to D&D and C&C: Ravenloft, Faerun, Greyhawk, Erde, and a few home made worlds.
Okay, thats about it talk to you on the various topics.
