Which adventure pack from the X-mas sale?

Post by Frost »

Hi, if you were to buy only one of the adventure packs from the X-mas Sale, which would you choose (assuming you had none at the moment)?

For my own selfish reasons, if Haunted Highlands is your number one pick, I'd love to hear your number two choice (I already own almost all the HH stuff).

I would go with the "A" series.

I have all of them, and they are all worth having, however I voted for the 7 because of the variety of flavors and types of adventures offered.

Though all great... my pick would be the 7-Astounding Adventures.

One of my favorite C&C modules is one of the 7 (the Shadows of Halfling Hall). However, the selection is diverse enough and I think this selection has a bit of everything in it.

HH, but my 2nd pick would be the the A-series. Because that series is pretty decent so far and has a world of potential with the rest of the series coming out in the next 8-12 months.

I too voted for the Haunted Highlands. Second pick would be tough, but it's hard to beat the value proposition of the 7 adventures for $20, particularly when Shadows of the Halfling Hall is, alongside Mortality of Green, my favorite C&C module.

I'd buy the "A" series. But heck, you can't go wrong with any of those deals. I'm well on my way to having all of them!

Well, I own a considerable number of the A series and four of the seven offered in the other sale. Miraculously, I didn't own any of the HH stuff, so it worked out perfectly. Had I not owned any of the others, I would have to go with the 7-module deal, I believe.

Well, actually, I opted for the Crusader subscription and Yggsburgh. That was a deal too good to pass up and with the "time bomb" on Yggsburgh, it made more sense to get that now.

I still find this thread interesting, though, as it provides some insight into which series is the most popular. Looks like Haunted Highlands is the local favorite. I cast my vote for it myself, as that is what I would have gotten had I not already had nearly all of them.
