Christmas beer of choice

Post by huds0n »

I found this little gem at the liquor store today. It's mighty tasty.

What are you drinking this holiday?

My favorite beer is the next one.

I'm partial to Sam Adams (almost all flavors) and Abita (all brews).

I was impressed by the new Bud American Ale, I must say.

I'm partial to this myself:

I was pleasantly surprised by this one as well. It's my new go-to cheap beer.

My favorite is still Newcastle though, and Boag's when I can find it.

So do I. You have to go to an actual liquor store to find the weird stuff.

Yeah, I reckon so. I used to frequent such places quite often, but after I became a responsible member of society and a family man, my trips to the liquor store have become less and less frequent.

I was responsible, but some well-meaning relative gave me a gift card to an ABC store for my birthday, if you can believe that.

Mmmmm...Beer...

Post by Sir Osis of Liver »

I haven't been able to find it up north since Katrina, but my favorite "theme" beer is Dixie Brewing Company's Blackened Voodoo.

Lately, the best I've found is Leinenkugel's Fireside Nut Brown. I think I'll be celebrating the holidays with a little Johnnie Walker Black, though. I feel a pressing need to live up to my handle.

I enjoy any good quality dark, stout or bock beer this time of year.

Negra Modelo is pretty tasty and I've got some Honey Mead on the way to go with my Yuenling.
