Sir, more often than not "a few posts up" is old news. Things change fast in Troll Lands.

Plus, I didn't look at any specific posts regarding this. My Bad.

They all sound fantastic, Jim.

Some floorplans (taverns and the like) would always be welcome. Sorry...I don't mean to sound like an ingrateful a'hole. Thanks again for all you guys do!

The new, issue #16 Troll Lord Freebies is quite impressive. Very detailed and I think I shall copy that and put it directly into my current campaign. Good stuff. Thanks Jim and Peter.

Ya, its not even the whole thing. I kinda ran out of room. I need a bigger piece of paper to detail the other floors and levels. Not to mention a certain number of pages to define those who populate it and what's stored there.

I'm waiting for time to work on it. Which I can't right now cause I have other things to do, and my time is being nibbled to death by ducks.

That is one huge inn. Is it like the Waldorf of fantasy inns or something?

Well, ya know that card out of the Deck of Many Things that gives a character a small keep?

That's what my character did with the small keep.

Buildings in my campaign setting are like elephants. A mouse built to government specifications.

I can honestly say that I have never used a Deck of Many Things, or been in a campaign where a Deck was used.

I'm going to turn it into an oriental fortress though. Complete with ninjas. And them statues in the middle? Buddha-dudes.

For Rising Knight fans, the Troll Lord Freebie map in issue #17 of the Crusader is of particular interest. Check it out.

Even if it wasn't a Rising Knight map and just a map in general....it is a friggin' awesome map. Very well done.

It was a map I did for one of my own games that I ran for some folks. Naught anything 'official'.

Offical?! It's in the Crusader with a heading "Rising Knight Map Level 3." Oh, oh you bet it's official.

Y'know, we have all sorts of handy bits of software to help us make wonderful maps, but there's something viscerally satisfying about the scritch of pencil on paper that I find hard to give up entirely.

Or maybe I'm just a little strange. Either way, chalk me up as another map fan; I look forward to seeing these immensely.

Maybe someone can assist me with the map in Crusader 17, as I'm not familiar wiht the A-series, yet (have them, haven't read through them yet). I know Peter said it wasn't "official" but what is the actual connection with the Crusader map and the A-series, particularly The Rising Knight? My initial guess is that there was an additional, unexplored, level of that adventure that was left to the CK to produce, and this map was from Peter's game...that's just a guess though.

It was a map I created for my own game, yes. The dungeons provided were not sufficient for my needs, so I expanded them.

Thanks Peter...but mind if I ask for a little more clarification? I have A0 but have not looked at it yet (and curse myself for being unenlightened of it right about now ) - is this map a representation of the map in A0, or is this just an extra level or something that you added at one point? Thanks, and sorry for all the questions!

Its an extra third level. There are two levels in A0. I created some more on my own.
