Fun Stuff in Video Games

Post by Combat_Kyle »

I had to share this it cracked me up. I was just playing a game of Star Wars Battlefront 2 (good game). The Bots often say lines of dialogue during the battle when you accomplish certain things, but this one takes the cake. After I killed a couple stormtroopers a rebel bot said:

"Man, can I borrow your midicholians?"

You think you're a gamer (video that is)?

Take this quiz to see: http://www.bitpit.be/

Hehe, 56%. That was fun, some interesting questions, but I really needed my nephews for most of 'em. I'll have to test the boys next time they come over for our C&C game.

Scribble Cloud reminds me of something interesting. My daughter would know many of the games, but there should be a test on dexterity. After our C&C game, we play LAN deathmatch games and she rulez like no other.

She totally destroys me & my buddy, who have been gaming via modem, LAN & internet since Quake, as well as my 2 young nephews who grew up with computer and game console games. It's just amazing. Hehe, just fragging and gibbing.

[Oh, for those that play, we run Quake III, Unreal Tournament and Half-Life]

I got 52%. That's with my supreme guessing skills though and what I've learned from comercials.

I don't own any game systems and don't play any of the new computer games either.

I get creamed in games like Halo and Soldier of Fortune (I've not played Quake or Half-Life before). My brother is usually the cause of my demise.

Too funny. Andrea's brother, my 15 year old son Jacob, has the coolest Halo screen name. Instead of using all the suped-up explosive weapons, he prefers the power-sword and goes by the name...FIVE SECOND SURGEON.

...and that's about how long the rest of us live. We never even see him coming or hit us...just the notification that we're respawning.
Around here, Andrea is master of RPG video games wheras Jacob rules the 1st-person shooter types...(hence we need both a playstation 2 and an x-box).

As for me, they got me to play Diablo so I downloaded a character editor and made my dudes ungodly rediculous...(insert fiendish laughter).

I got 62% but had to guess on a lot of 'em.

Got all of the older games questions right. Where was the question that asks what can be picked up in the black castle to get to the secret screen on Atari "Adventure"?

Did you get the feeling the author of that quiz may not have been as old as some of us?

76% Would have done better if it was more about the better era of games instead of some of the new crap...
