lol @ article

Post by huds0n »

I just want to make it know before anyone gets their Crusader #15 that my article in it was NOT the final draft. Apparently Liz didn't get my final draft from James (or something to that effect?), and the early draft was published.

So just for the record that everyone knows it wasn't me lol!

It's just a new column for the Crusader about Convention news and whatnot.

I want to say I'm sorry to Richard. Ultimately the mistakes in CRUSADER are my fault. He worked very hard on his first piece and reworked in several times. Richard, you should feel free to post the entire thing here in the web site so that people get it right. Again, I'm sorry, and we will do better in the future.

If you are a fan of Troll Lords and you don't have a subscriptions to CRUSADER you should seriously consider getting one. Issue 15 is wonderful and I have every expectation of it getting better and better.

That's ok, stuff happens.

Before Jim took over, Davis got confused over something I submitted for the CKG and published it as a Crusader article with his byline. Steve was gracious and printed a correction in the next issue. I don't remember which issue, offhand, but it had to do with handling monsters and NPCs.

Such is the publishing biz, right?

Yeah it's all good. I'm just happy to help the magazine grow any way i can. I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm not completely illiterate. LOL!

I'll add my apologies to Jim's, just on general principle! Many issues ago (before Jim and I had anything to do with the magazine, of course!) an Auld Wyrmish article wound up with a byline from "The Penguin" rather than Mike Stewart! That was a screw-up stemming from instructions regarding a different submission which never saw print after that... still, it was rather funny.

And I liked your article anyway, Huds0n! The finished product was probably way too cool for us to see...

Don't know if anyone has caught this yet, but the links for Crusader 14 and 15 on the TLG Store page kick you back to issue 13 highlights.
